Mansarovar Yatra
Published On:
•Mt. Kailash and Lake Mansalobar are very sacred in the eyes of Hindus, Buddhists, Jains, and good. The pilgrims believe that traveling to these places might help them achieve spiritual cleansing and Mokusha, or liberation.
• Yatras are of arduous nature, as the trek passes through severe altitude (over 15,000 feet) and unclear weather. The tourists have to cross the remote regions of Tibet, where the access to modern amenities is limited.
•The Mansarovar pilgrimage route can be made through the traditional India route passing through Nepal or Tibet Autonomous Region. The government of India supports this pilgrimage and has, on its part, already organized visits involving both Parikrama around Mount Kailash and a visit to Lake Mansarovar.

•The Prize is awarded on the basis of the laureate's outstanding efforts to promote peace, international cooperation and the eradication of poverty. He often recognizes human rights, sustainable development, and diplomatic work.

PM Awas Yojana (PMAY)
•The target of PMAY is to provide 'Housing for All' by 2022. The government will provide affordable housing to Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), Low Income Groups (LIG) and Middle Income Groups (MIG) in both urban and rural areas.
•Under the Credit Linked Subsidy Scheme (CLSS), the government provides interest subsidies on home loans under PMAY. This, therefore, reduces the overall costs incurred in purchasing or constructing a house for the targeted beneficiaries.
•This project targets homeless, slum dwellers, and economically dysfunctional families. It facilitates the building of a house with basic equipment including water, hygiene, and electricity, thus providing the best criteria for living. The
